Dear members and friends of Faith Lutheran Church,

All activities have been temporarily cancelled due to the virus. For many of us worship service and Bible studies are necessary parts of our lives.  Faith has put into place some opportunities for us to remain connected with each other.

Since we are not able to attend the worship services in person, we will be recording and posting the worship services on our webpage and Facebook.  An opportunity for feedback will be available on one of our streaming platforms. The bulletin for the worship services will also be available and will include the words to all the liturgy and songs.  We hope to also provide music so you and your household can further participate in the services.  The weekly sermon videos and written copies are already posted on our Facebook page.

For the Wednesday Mid-Week services, we have posted the bulletin and questions that will be discussed. On Wednesday at 6:30 pm there will be a group discussion on the questions one of the streaming platforms. Information on how to join in the discussion will be posted.  Jenelle and Patrisha will be available to help navigate to those sites.

As normal, you can call or email your prayer request to the office and that request will be sent to the prayer chain.

Pastor Berni will be available by request.  He will call or even video call if needed.

We will also be providing online tithing, so that you are able to donate your offering directly or you are welcome to mail in a check.

If you are quarantined and need supplies, please contact Jenelle.  A group of members has been formed to be able to help where we can.

These are all big changes; however, it will help us all to stay connected as a family during these difficult times .  It will also help us move forward creatively into the future of technology.

Thank you for understanding and God Bless you.

Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks. Then God’s peace, which goes beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:6-7  (GW)
